InsideOut is the internal newspaper for University Hospital Birmingham that brings patients, staff and visitors up to speed on the development of Birmingham’s new £500million super hospital. With a heavy editorial content the page layout needed to be clear, readable and to the point. Our more engaging look compliments the Trust’s brand guidelines, is easy to read, and appeals to a wide range of groups with different interests and needs.

Breast Cancer Screening Illustrations
From 2000-2006 Oliver was my senior designer at
Trinity Mirror plc and on joining the NHS in 2006 I employed him to design various in-house publications for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, as well as provide creative concepts for a host of other on- and offline publications. I also recommended Oliver’s business to competitively pitch for the development of a website and branding of the Trust’s Clinical Centre of Haematology, which they were successful in winning.
